The Patient Financial Services department is here Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to assist you with any billing questions. The Patient Financial Services department has a dedicated staff that works diligently to ensure that your claims are submitted to your insurance company promptly. Once it has been determined that the balance is the patient’s responsibility a statement is mailed.
A financial counselor is available to assist you with your bill, set up payment plans, or see if you or your family member qualifies for any state/federal programs or hospital discount programs.
You may receive a separate bill for:
- Emergency Room Physician
- Radiologist
- Surgeon
- Pathologist
- Outside Reference Labs – if the lab test cannot be performed at MCDH.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATION
No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. MCHD has a financial assistance program (discounted/sliding fee) based on family size and income.
