Trinity Hospital is located in Trinity County, on Highway 299 West between Redding and Eureka. It is nestled in the basin just below the beautiful Trinity Alps. Trinity County is known for its endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, white water rafting, fishing, kayaking, gold panning, mountain biking, motor vehicle touring, camping, horseback riding, etc. Trinity County is the place to come if you enjoy finding yourself on a new exiting adventure every day.

Trinity Hospital has 25 acute care beds, 13 skilled nursing beds. Trinity hospital offers a 24 hour emergency room, surgical services, and provides many outpatient services including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, two physical therapy locations, and two rural health clinics.

Each month, 35 to 40 patients are admitted for acute care and approximately 20 surgeries and 34 endoscopic procedures are performed. The emergency room is staffed with in house physicians and is very busy, especially during the summer tourist season. The laboratory has state of the art chemistry and hematology analyzers, and provides basic bacteriology, immune hematology and coagulation services. The diagnostic imaging department provides basic x-rays, ultrasound, and CT scan services.

The Directors and staff are committed to ensuring the availability of and accessibility to emergency medical care, and primary and preventive health care in a cost effective and fiscally responsible manner to all the people in the communities we serve. At this small, rural facility they offer quality care with a personal touch that you can count on.

I would like to nominate Marilyn Fegley as employee of the month. Marilyn is very committed to the organization and to our patients. She has demonstrated this through helping in the Admitting front office, helping with Business Services projects, assisting other department staff, and by being so extremely helpful to patients. She is very empathetic and caring. Marilyn can collect money from a patient while still leaving them with a smile. That is a very difficult task, and it takes real talent and kindness. I have only ever heard staff and patients say wonderful things about Marilyn and her very positive and contagious attitude. She truly is an amazing person and employee!
