Trinity Hospital Gets New CT Scanner
Mountain Communities Healthcare District purchased a new CT
scanner through a
lease agreement in order to replace 17-year-old equipment which needed major
repairs and was not capable of many needed procedures.
The Mountain Communities Healthcare District
directors voted at the Oct. 21 meeting to approve a contract with Atlas
Medical Technologies for the refurbished CT scanner.
The five-year lease
agreement called for trade-in of the current scanner and $197,000 to be divided
into monthly payments of $7,930 plus tax. Service is included in the contract.
There was also a $20,000 security deposit paid with funds from an estate
donated to the Trinity Hospital Auxiliary.
